All I did today was clean the springs and axel with a wire brush
Tomorrow will get a full degrease and wash down ready to stick some primer on

Well she has been all de-greased today and I will be letter it all dry out tonight and then tomorrow will put on primer on and hopefully black top coat

Hmm, why don't you dismantel the leaf springs, shakles, bump stops? There'll be a lot of corrosion inside/between the parts.
It's easy to get the axle out of the frame when the 5/8 bolts are removed!
First and second leafs of the springs seamed to be bend the wrong way lightly?

I was going to take the springs off and dismantle but I am not sure I need to they are not too bad and I have a spring greaser that I will use to grease in between the leafs. I also need to get it back together by Friday ready for surgery when I am back from holiday in three weeks.

You will always need a fitting spacer, somtimes more as one, as shown as in the last picture.
I reamed the bore inside the inner bush to 16H7 and renewed the thread to M16x1,5.
This works since several years very well.
On several Sankeys.

Well, I don't know about any replacement recourses.
I just kept the remaining part everytime.
It would be nice to become part of the inner circle, who knows about spare parts about the Sankey trailers.

Ok I need some help.
I did not realise when I took the hubs off but now trying to put the hubs on I have realised that on one side I am missing the washer that goes between the first bearing and the oil seal.
So question do I need the washer? And if so who has one?
In the manual I gave it is described as: "baffle plate"

Arlo - looking back at your pictures did you put a washer between the 1st bearing you put on and the oil seal? I can not see that step in your pictures.
