Its looking great Thumbs Up

You have done a super job and I must admit I find the regular updates are great too, a really interesting thread.

Have you any thoughts on when it will be finally finished and your first outing ?

Cheers Phil.

Today I fitted the slide for the fridge Thumbs Up

I am happy with how it turned out although I wish I had made the door way a bit wider but O well Smile

I have an Electrolux triple power fridge it does fit although when I measured the opening for it I forgot to take into account the brass gas connection which sticks out over Big Cry anyway I think I can modify it so hopefully no dramas as I won't be using the gas connection at all.

Also started mocking up an electronics control panel. I managed to get a sailing boat panel for about £10 and it has different stickers to change the words Thumbs Up although I like it being nautical themed as that is what I do Smile also it has the fuses built in and they are 10A at the moment so will be fine for the lights, 12v sockets, water pump and fridge Thumbs Up

Also going to have 2 12v sockets and a USB charger in the electric cupboard for phones/ torches Smile then added a volt meter as I have another one that I think I will punt the kitchen side so it is easily visible or I will keep it for when I add a second battery.

Did not take a pic but I added hot and cold water over to my gas locker for the water heater and ran them through the floor along the chassis and back in as I don't have the option to run them inside annoyingly. Now does this mean I will need to insulate them on the outside? If so what is the best way? They are running through the chassis channel so are pretty well hidden and there is not a huge amount of space Confused

Look what arrived this morning to go on the kitchen side for outside to light up the awning Thumbs Up

Look really substantial and hopefully want draw too much and will give a good throw Smile

Also can someone tell me what size cable I should run from the battery to my fuse box? Would 15amp stuff be ok? I assume I would need thicker stuff from the charger?? For the 240 charging?

Thanks

I have a pair of those coming too Thumbs Up

Your wire will depend on what you had load at the fuse box will be Simon,

I have 50A cable from my Aux battery to run to my small 4 way fuse box in the trailer, the draw will only be my Waeco fridge, lights and a few other small bits, chargers etc, at 50A I'm well in, but it's running the length of the D3 and into the trailer so there'll be less drop than using a lighter cable Thumbs Up

All the fuses and stuff into fuse box is only 10A and I won't be running anything with that big a draw, the same as you really. And the distance of the cable is only about 1m as the battey will be on the centre of the trailer Thumbs Up I will prob get the 20amp stuff to be safe Smile and I am sure that will be fine!

I got the awning out today too which was really good only problem is there is a gap along the rear edge of about 10cm and I can not seem to see why. Annoyingly I forgot to take a pic till I realised and it was away doh! But all the fabric is tight and I have adjusted the rail asich as I can. I think I will just have to make up a piece to fill the gap but I will use it and see what happens Thumbs Up might need raising up a little too haha! Pleased with it though Smile

Got the flood lights wired in Thumbs Up

They are very good look forward to using them when the awning is out Smile

Also hooked up the 110ah battery I have just temporarily to the switch board I have and am really happy with it Smile I also wired in two of the three LED lights I have for the kitchen and they provide a lot of light they are jar not quite as a refined fit as something which would cost a bit more but I will work on that Smile

Was good to see yours too Iggy and it is a very well thought out set up you have Bow down looks really good Smile
