Well got the wheel arches finally welded in
Got one side of the floor fitted annoyingly I should have thought about the 8x4 thing
I am really happy with how it is coming on

Well finally got the cladding all ordered today
Think the frame is about done too I have got to order some more steel annoyingly to add a few extra supports. It is pretty reinforced and can be lifted just and I mean just by two people.
So ordered some more lengths and hopefully they will be with me so Incan just cut a few extra supports for the roof for when I get a roof tent
Also got the tow hitch mounted and down nice and tight. Just got to trim off the excess in the bar and it will finally be towable again shame the D3 is in the stealers for the 7 yr and oil pump so won't be able to tow it till tomorrow and give it a try

Ye have been trying to crack on with it Got the grinder out earlier and flattened off all the areas where the sheet will go and have got one door made and ready to be clad too
Just got to find some suitable stainless hinges that I like and get the rivets and plenty of drill bits
Will start to prime the frame and top coat it tomorrow and will just weld in the last few sections next week when I get the material!

I am using 20mm as the frame is 25mm box and have got some 8mm seals to fit in so that will give me about 3mm compression. Put the sailing pics in a different thread
Got the body on and had a look at it on the back of the D3 looked great
It is basically level with the D3 @ 1.8m high but is still narrower than the D3. Drove around a bit to test stuff out and the only thing not right are the brake/ tail lights on the trailer. For some reason only the brake lights work not the tail even though they are duel ones but will investigate!
I got the hitch and everything bolted down, trailer painted too so now all black also attached some anchor points welded to the frame inline with the anchor points already on the trailer and I will bolt the frame on to the chassis with them
Then I got the degreaser out and decreased the whole frame and got it ready for primer
