handbrake

help need handbrake wood not release at firse try four times it released do i need a new actuator or adjustment it a manual Bow down

There is a fuse mentioned in that thread which should stop the brake activating when you take the key out, or keep the lever pressed down as you remove key, but thats easy to forget Confused

I have no affiliation with them, but I took a drive to RRLondon in Batersea and he replaced the actuator with a modified one with 12 months guarantee for £200, though as previously mentioned it could just be your handbrake shoes are starting to seize and need freeing up using the Bodsy brake bible
