D3 wing mirror position

Quick question,

I'm trying to get my wing mirrors adjusted, but I can't seem to angle the passenger side mirror in close enough to see the back of the car.

Is there a manual adjustment of some kind to tweak it in?

You need to check and make sure that the glass is seated properly in the housing.
You should be able to see the back of the car Shocked

I have the same issue, I just picked up my Disco today (delighted with it, so impressed after driving across Ireland this evening). When I viewed the Disco, the passenger side mirror glass was loose and the dealer (not a LR dealer) replaced the glass.

The glass adjusts alright, but cannot get it close enough to view the back of the Disco. Is there by any chance a setting for LHD / RHD mirrors, as it would be fine if it was for a LHD?

That may be confusing but any help to sort it would be great.

Known issue and there was a TSB a while back for a revised mirror; I am sure you can buy the revised part.

Thanks for the note, is the new part the whole mirror or just some small part? Would hate to think we would need a new mirror unit. . . .

It's just a spacer ring to allow for a greater range of adjustment, everything else remains the same.
