Hi,
For months I've been having issues with my HL HK IHU not playing back MP3 off CD's unless it is hard reset. Even then it would only work for a few tracks or so, then spit out the CD saying disc error.
In all this time I've never reset the tone setting but I thought I've been resetting everything else recently so why not that. Not only do the MP3's play back now, about 5 trips and 50 minutes or so now including a disc change - all fine. In addition the volume is two to three times louder, before I was listened at 30-35 with some distortion which I thought was because of volume but now 35 is pure and clear albeit too loud to comfortably listen at. Low power mode still offer plenty of volume as before it was disappointingly quiet.
So I would say if you have any issues with your IHU try the reset tone settings as it would appear to do more than just tone.

Ah would appear the above is not true
Got the disc error today and resetting the tone settings did nothing else. Would seem I was just lucky with a run of a few days.
