Size of rear of disco 3 with seats flat.

Hi all,

In process of finding a discovery 3, I will be selling my van that I use on weekends and using the discovery instead.

So was wondering if someone knew the measurements of the back of them with the seats laid flat, as looking at making something up to protect the back, that is removable for tools etc so the interior doesn't get damaged.

Also has any one made anything up like this up, that I could get some ideas off.

Cheers

Dan

I have a D4, guessing they are about the same size?
With all rear seats down flat, I have been able to fit in and carry home a full size internal door 6'6"+
if that helps.

If you type "Discovery 3 Loadspace" into a popular auction site you will find there's loads of options you can get which will fit nicely. Cheapest is about £30 IIRC.

I've managed to get a single divan bed and mattress in mine then went back for a 3 seater sofa and closed the tailgate both times!I would say its there's more room than in an Escort type van easily. Its much better than a van as far as i'm concerned. Thumbs Up
