Have Cooper ATR's on. Very good in all conditions and hard wearing. No experience of the GG's though.

Away from the road,I personally don't think there's much in it.....had Coopers on 17's and they were very good....now have GG's on 19's and again, very good......I do find the GG's better once you get back on Tarmac....just my view "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

Had 3 sets of General At's on 3 vechicles.
Overall not bad, good life, good in wet and snow. Found not as good off road to previous version and all 3 sets have had a drumming, hub a dub noise which worsens as wear progresses. Its not particular loud, I just found it annoying.
Have now switched to the newly released Cooper LTZ in 19 inch size and just over 1500 miles later am still very pleased with them. Better for certain in the mud and as good as General on the road. Also quiet and no drubbing noises.
Cheaper than the Generals too D4 Landmark MY16 Santorini Black THE LAST

Thanks all for your replies,
think I'm slightly shying towards the coopers as price is more appealing and seem to last as long from reviews

I have used both but prefer the the cooper ltz. The cooper is fantastic in the snow and good in the sticky stuff.
They also look amazing on your car and set the disco off for posing. Disco 3 HSE

highway...ok on tarmac..bit noisier on concrete surface.
wind makes more noise at speed than tyres.
they are noisier when first on then after about 500km they quieten down a bit.
noticably noisier than wranglers at about 70km\h but not bad.
much better on wet muddy roads..
I run mine at std pressure as per door label..just had car serviced and noticed something odd straight away..they had inflated all tyres to 41 psi...bit cavalier of them I thought as It exceeds recommended pressure..not a good ride at that pressure...all back now.. It is better to have and not need it then need and not have it.

To be honest I have never noticed the road noise because I'm used to driving a defender so anything after that is quite.
If it bothers you just turn the radio up a bit or take the wife with you or the kids, they will soon make you forget the noise. Disco 3 HSE
