Try a six sided socket as the multi point ones can cause issues with the outer cover twisting

If it's still got locking wheel nuts on, pull the cap off to reveal the locking nut.

If you do still have the lockers, bin them and get 4 new ordinary nuts

If that's not any help I'm sure someone will be along soon with more advice

Thumbs Up

If it's non of the above then Either the stud is turning in the hub or the threads have stripped inside the nut more likely the latter from overtightening overimpacting,a slide hammer with home made adapter welded to nut might get nut off stud?not going to be easy and as I believe studs are not replaceable then a new hub will be needed.others may be along with their ideas.

Do not think that will be the case, they are known for issues with the outer casing swelling and not working as it should especially on earlier models.

Try a six sided socket just a bit smaller and hammer it on this will make the SS shell tighten onto under nut hopefully enough to turn it,hope you or a friend have a good skt selection.

If none of that works you might need a dremmel,
Cut off the outer casing then get hold of a set of Irwin sockets the ones that grip rounded nuts.

I'm sure there is a thread on here somewhere all about this
Try a search for swollen nuts.
And no I'm not taking the p Censored s

Good luck

just to clarify, you know that 4 of the nuts are standard nuts, and ONE is a locker that uses a different socket (adaptor supplied with the car), so which of these is going round? A standard nut or the locking nut?
