I tried a couple for my Ipad but they were generally rubbish and then I found this one, it actually stayed stuck to the screen, didnt wobble too much and didnt get brewers droop..

That looks similar to the one I've ordered...
Bit dubious as to the amount it'll obstruct the view, so I got a vent mount one too...

Thinking of this option myself. Dont see the point in spending money to retrofit or add entertainment to rear headrests when I could just mount the kids ipads and take them out each time I leave the car.
Specially considering the price of the option! Would hate to think what a damaged screen or general repair would be on them compared to a broken Ipad and having to get that repaired or replaced.

There are options aplenty specifically for iStuff, but for android stuff you need to buy more generic/universal stuff...

There is obviously some obstruction to vision but there are locations that minimise the impact and I never felt that the ipad was "in the way", of course the counter is that being a large screen makes time spent looking at it less than a smaller one..

Doesn't it flop about a bit when going over the rough stuff?
The two I bought were , it's too big to be screen mounted, and the vent mount moved about too much, and didn't suit the shape of the dash so left marks...

it does not flop about, no. Mine's done thousands of km with Tom and Jerry or Scooby-Doo running on the tablet - it sits in front of the car hifi in my implementation.
If it flop about, both Mummy and Midget would be hurting my ears...
But the mounting is more "interesting" with electric seats, I've sourced a rear seat screw which is longer in order to mount mine. I should take pictures....Discovery 3 Manual as PDF | Blackvue 500 | BAS Remap | Mates did South America in a Landie
