Small drip from 'airbag' badge
Driving along today and a small drip of water dripped from the airbag logo on the A pillar I popped out the badge and there doesn't seem to be any more so I'm hoping it was condensation? Or should I be worried? Can't find any more wet and it hasn't done it since. What should I check?
Cheers

Seals on the out side trims of the wind screen, new news come with a sticker, cut off the lugs and plug holes, then new clips with seals, that was my problem, about 10 quid a side. You remind me of a younger me, not much younger mind...perhaps even a little older!

Scottish summer collects behind my A-pillar ...on both the D3 and the D4..... After an overnight deluge, when I pull away the following morning, there is a gurgle followed by an evacuation onto the side windows.....as my 3 was a non-sunroof SE (so no drains) and my 4 has a sunroof with drains,I would guess it's the A pillar "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

Take grill of side wing , remove black foam after pushing rubber air tube to side and you will find a cross ended tube that is probably blocked I cut mine back as others suggested and after a gentle poke around a load of build up of sludge came out with a lot of water in tube. My leak also came out of airbag badge , water is trickling down tube from sunroof and bridging through the airbag cap.
There are a few links on here about this. Try rodding from top too with a bicycle brake cable but do it gently as you could push a tube joint apart. I did all four tubes and others have documented with photos that helps Steveo

Wow loads of replies cheers lads! Yeah it's a hse with all the sunroofs, will give all those suggestions a try! Will get some mig wire from the shed and try feeding it through the tubes make sure it's not blocked first and check security of pillar trims. Has anyone got a photo of where the holes are located please? Or any links to a how toon here I can't seem to find one in the search!
Thanks again and merry Xmas all!
Be very careful with mig wire as its very sharp and you might push it through the tube wall..

Hi jimbotd5
See feed below and trawl through and you will find all relevant pics . Find a blunt cable ie a bicycle wire with metal cap to prevent cutting hole in tube.
