New filter, not bleeding ontop of engine, low fuel pressure
Hi guys, literally been yonks since ive been on here.
Driving home the other day the disco died with engine system failure popped up, turned off and on and it worked again.
Got home and next day it turned over for a while before starting.
I fitted new fuel filter and went to bleed it and no fuel coming through.
Got diagnostic on it and one thing that rang bells was "low fuel pressure".
Could this be the fuel pump in tank circa £100? And hopefully not the high pressure one on engine costing significantly more?
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks in advance

If there is nothing at the bleed valve, then there is an issue with the fuel system before it gets to the engine, which points to an issue with the LPFP, fuel leakage, or incorrectly fitted pipework.
Assuming the pipes are fitted the right way, and there are no fuel leaks, all fingers point to an issue with the LPFP. Whether it is the pump itself, or a wiring issue to the pump needs to be diagnosed first.
The above also assumes that the sender units read properly, and there is actually fuel in the tank My D3 Build Thread
