However you are partly obscuring your off side light cluster and 3rd brake light. Whilst the latter is not an offence it is there for a reason. The former - is an offence and therefore you should have a light bar fitted, or have a nice fixed penalty or a rectification notice free and gratis from the boys in blue . . .
Also, I'm sure somebody far more technical than me will be a long to tell you that the D3 tailgate isn't designed for a high fit bike mount. I also like to be able to get my dogs out of the boot.

Sorry, didn't mean to offend 90.
All depends on how and where you view the rear end from.
It's only tyres & spokes ... yes they'll do me if they're pickey.
but that applies to anything.
I can get my dog out [if I had one] cos the tailgate is still fully functional.
But, i'd only put one [light] bike on mine.
It seems I just don't like parting with money and will do anything I can to avoid it!
Hope the Thule works out ok for you and all.
gps in post...... always on the road less travelled 🚧
< ‘tis but a mere scratch …….. it’ll polish out.
But round here, in the summer you would deffo get pulled, you even get a why I've been pulled leaflet about bike racks and the highway code !!
I think my brother has has issues at work (Land Rover) with tailgate bike racks - hence my comment."To finish first, one first has to finish ...."

If you need to carry 4 bikes there is no way to do this on a hanging rack unless you want to leave it halfway down the M-way - towball rack please!
Any update on costs yet?

Got my rack as 'cheap n cheerful', cost a couple of quid, been using it for years [adapts to all vehicles] AND no light bar is needed AND I can tow with it [pics in gallery].
How do you attach it to the D3? And where do you stick the handle bars?

Guys, fair bit of background work gone into this and you should all now have a PM from me.
I have been asked not to post the price on the public forum. Please respect this and just let me know if you have not recieved the pm. Better still let me know if you have ordered directly with the company !!
Cheers,
