Not Starting in Park, but does in Neutral
Hey All,
Had a strange one today. Could not find something similar really on the site though.
3 times today, My Auto 2006, D3 HSE did not want to start in Park. Just made a clicking sound like a dead battery, but just one click. I tried a few times and getting out, locking, then unlocking again etc...
Then thought I would try in Neutral, it took first time.
It did this 3 times during the morning... then, later in the day, it was normal again with it starting in Park... weird.
I must admit, I took her for a swim yesterday, but under the intake, nothing crazy and up and down a few obstacles at a near by trail. Met another D3 Forum Member
Maybe just something got a bit wet?
Or should I start looking elsewhere...?
Thanks in Advance...------

Gear change linkages attached to box. Worn or loose? “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€
