Another front valve block question.... |
|
Can I just reuse the old voss collet connectors with my new front valve block? Just unscrew off the old valve and reattach to the new unit? Will there be any foreseeable problems if I do this? My new valve block came with new voss connectors, and I thought it would be easier to just unscrew them off and use the old ones with the lines already attached. I plan on installing first thing in the am so any advice would be much appreciated Narpy's Grill Mod, Suspension Rods, Ultra guage, wrangler Goodyear duratracs 265/60/18, new thermostat, diff oils changed, brake switch new, aluminum rack floor, LED driving lights in foglights, rear camera, just need gvif unit, next on list! No, is the answer
The old connectors will not reach far enough into the valve block, to start on the threads.
Much easier to just break off the old collets, slide the union off the pipe, and push fit into the new block My D3 Build Thread

Do I need to cut anything or is it pretty straight forward to do?
