Belgium 2008 Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE Auto Alaska WhiteDiscovery 3

I'm aware of the different clamping method, that's the reason for other nuts, I have the nuts for alloy rims.
Nuts are available on ebay if you search for 'Discovery 3 nuts' there is a complete list. All of them for alloy rims, the combination Discovery 3 + steel rims seems to be rarer. Rolling Eyes

Nuts got fat?

I assume the nuts, or at least one on each wheel, had "grown" in diameter?

One of the problems with that stainless steel cap that cover the scrap iron, (old boat, I call it), underneath is that corrosion swells the caps and you cannot get a 22mm hex socket over them to undo the nuts.

About the only solution is new nuts and I am not convinced the newer factory genuine nuts are any different. Alternatively, per below, there is ebay if you trust the supplier. Guys like Gorilla, I probably would. By the time you pay freight, their product will cost more but at least there are no caps.

I'm going to think about those ones, wonder how the black ones will look on the factory rims.

have you seen the 17" steel rims that Lucky 8 have got on their project? Not sure what they have for lug nuts.

17" rims are tough to fit on a V8

In the UK, they have 17" rims but those go on the low powered diesel commercial 3's that have smaller brake assemblies - rotor smaller I think.

In Australia, the guys have found one 17" rim that seems to fit over the larger brake assemblies that are more common. That is the problem Lucky8 attempts to solve.

Below is a link to a thread on tyres and wheel rims. I think that you will find 18" is tough enough to sort out, let alone true pioneering.
