Front and Rear Brake Pipes to be replaced

Hi

Anyone know what would be a reasonable price to replace front and rear brake pipes on my D4, they say it is a 4 hour job. Went in to my local dealer for an MOT today and failed on corroded brake pipes.
Excluding the flexies.

Advisory on Brake Hose ferrules (what are these), brake hoses, play off side front wheel bearing.

Been going on and off for 5 years with my 03 Range Rover and found them very honest and helpful.

Regards

Mike

Most mot stations are having a go at brake pipe potential rust issues, a good waxoyl before mot works wonders.

Oh, good idea but a bit late now.

I imagine a good wire brush would also have helped, something they would not bother with and I did not think about doing.

My last MOT was £270 including rear brake pipes, removal of those damned locking wheel nuts & fitting a tyre.

Front and rear, all metal pipes to master cylinder and flexible hoses £700.00. Seems a lot but given your prices may be reasonable from a dealer.
How is it my old 60's Buick is still on the same metal pipes twenty years later.
