I agree (as an engineer) I would always opt to change things in pairs...
but the stealer I was at (Hursts Belfast...who I trust) gave the report that the others looked & felt OK
I have to make the point that testing bearings by judging the wobble is one way but a bit crude
Bearings have a finite life.....FACT.
Then there was the leaky washer bottle....
When Iwas driving home the washers emptied themselves....
Its never done this before was my thought.
I had to renew the washer bottle....what a strange shaped "thing" with holes all over the place where things fit....
I was otherwise engaged & had to have this fitted....bumper off etc
Has the humble washer bottle been a rogue component ?...I don't recall there being a flood of posts on here....am I wrong ?
One bonus thing was I managed to get replacement cable for my vintage LR accessory iPod cradle....it crackled & fizzed...& was clearly a break in some of the wires...caused by the way it was installed with a sharp bend in the cable (to keep the installation neat)...cant wait to pull the old one in bits "to see it it will FIX"
thanks to al those who predicted a wheel bearing....the power of the applied knowledge of the forum...AWESOME. BREXIT - done properly.
Right now ...We need Government - not Politics
Save the Dipstick Flagbearer-keep it simple, less likely to fail campaign-agenda items:Starting Handles, Acetylene Lamps.

D3 HSE-perfectly formed, passenger friendly...has real DIPSTICK
Jag XK-but sadly no DIPSTICK...HUGE design fault
FL2 has DIPSTICK..."real comfort in rear seats"
VW Golf wondermobile (?)..has real DIPSTICK
Morris Minor..original DIPSTICK technology..and a real KEY.
