Double check

We've talked a bit already mate but I would go with a1 LandRover in Bury ... Tell him your issue and prices you've been quoted and he'll sort you out .... I have found him really helpful and he's v competitive. The service his team provides is excellent....

It's worth a call in my opinion Thumbs Up

Many thanks... will be glad when this is all done and dusted! Must remember that age is just as important as mileage when it comes to service intervals!

The reason they insist on a vat registered garage doing the work is that if, say, your engine blows up you could in theory get any non vat garage to backdate as service invoice. With vat, all invoices will be dated and submitted monthly so not so easy to backdate. A garage would be in real trouble with HMRC if caught doing this. Sometimes warranty companies allow just a vat registered lube service invoice and the rest could be done elsewhere.

If your not sorted there is a guy in Stockport who I used, Dave Lees, if you want his details PM me, he is VAT registered.

If you can get the belts changed with VAT, Parts, and labour for under £400.....I just paid £500 cash!! From a site sponsor, remember the vat would have been £100!!!
