I have heard about 2SO and its advantages, but I don´t have clear that it can remove noises....

I have run it with 2SO for the last 10k and mine still does it, and every D3 tdv6 I have heard start up has the 3 second tick. Some more audible than others.
I had a 16v Astra GTE that done the same. Never made any difference to the overall running of the engine.

As I said ... I'm a believer and honestly do think it 'quietens' the engine noise maybe its in my head but there's a few others who may agree, again I 'think' its something to do with supermarket diesel maybe someone can clarify?
I've only just noticed that no one replied to you post.
Mineral JASO FC is the most commonly available 2sO additive, and is usually the cheapest. I use Castrol Actevo 2 T prices vary widely but look at Tesco, Halfords, Asda Direct and Demon Tweeks.
Most people use a 1:200 ratio, so 425 ml for a full tank I. I tend to work on 500 ml for a full tank & pro ratia.
Fully synthetic 2sO does not burn ashfree and as such is not suitable for vehicles with DPF.
This is aside from the fact that it is substantially more expensive than normal mineral or
semi-synthetic 2sO conforming to JASO-FC

Thanks NJSS I am now using 2SO at each fill up, I dont have a particular brand as long as its mineral and low ash, last was 500ml bottles from Asda @ £2 each
Ops, its was Morrisons that had the 2SO at £2William

And my "new" engine has done just short of 30k now, so is not because it is still new
Interestingly, Bodsy's engine which has done the same sort of mileage, does rattle.
Nothing to worry about though, it is just the hydraulic tappets.Mark.

Me too, I have begun to use it from today, I bought Castrol Actevo 2 T, and use same ratio as NJSS says. We hope to see results soon

I'm hypersensitive, some guy chirped my Disco when I started it the other day, he said "Ja nice that sounds healthy!" - what a d**k!
If new TDV6 engines don't make that ticking noise, how come the older ones do? Is there work that can be done to make it go away, like perhaps improving the efficiency of the oil pump?2005 Discovery 3 2.7 TDV6 HSE (Auto)

With all the 2.7's I have replaced oil pumps on, the rattle at start up is always much less than with original oil pumps. The oil pressure light also goes out much quicker...My D3 Build Thread

Another good reason to change the oil pump casting then.

So much so, I was even considering doing it to my own, despite being an 05 engine My D3 Build Thread
