Interior upgrade in pictures! (get rid of the dull plastic!)
Had some time today and decided to get rid of the dull plastic around the radio
Painted the H-trim and the trim with the cup holders black!
Had some carbon foil wrap left and hey presto! The dull plastic on the radio was gone...
Here's the result - tell me what you think!
Maybe the carbon is a bit too AMG-like, but looks better than the plastic IMO.
But the foil comes in all types and colors!

Blimey !
That clashes a bit with the oak paneling round the air vents !Only dead fish go with the Flow !

I like the work you've done looks great, but I think it does clash a little with the brown air vent surround

I agree with you. Just finished the thing, so haven't had the time to decide the final look!

I would have thought carbon fibre on the radio would be disgusting..... looks really good! I may have to copy you!

Kenny Everett keeps coming to mind for some reason, with the occasional Valerie Singleton for good measure. If the carbon look stays then the 'wood' has to go.......Currently 2009 Disco 3 SE, 2013 MY D4 HSE and 2016 D4 SE
