What does it mean by Quote:Warranty Claims may not be submitted for this enhancement; this is a customer payable upgrade. should the word Quote:may not read "will"?

Customer pays and agrees to the warnings - Ergo - LR not liable should said customer drive their D3 into the River Sence in Sheepy Magna, like the dumb ass rich women Merc driver did.
Or god (sorry God) forbid crash into something.
If you agree to pay you agree LR are not liable.
Makes sence to me

I wonder if this will work without purchasing the latest DVD? no mention of the DVD in the TSB. I can't see the point in buying the DVD, as the 'missing' bits are still missing AFAIK.

This is a bit confusing
"Customers must be advised of the warning message on the navigation system which is displayed each time the system is operated and that they are responsible for ensuring they understand the message displayed"
I have navigation on the move enabled ..but the caution notice when you switch on the nav screen is still there on mine !! G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Well done 10forcash.
So LR & Denso have finally got their act together & provided what everybody wants. HOWEVER, for those with MY05 & 06 cars that upgraded their nav disc to the latest version at great expense, it's outrageous for LR to then instruct their dealers to charge extra for something the D3 owners thought they were supposed to get all along!
As I'm coming up to my 1st service next month, this "upgrade" can presumably take place alongside other software updates that may be needed. I'll no doubt be doing battle with the dealer over this being FOC. DGRR

What a chuffing ballache to get this done! I think I'll live with it as it is for now I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
