Brake warning light

The wife just called
'See the yellow light that's next to the fuel and water thingy's behind the steering wheel, what is it'
Well after a calm discussion, it would appear she is speaking about the brake warning light. I replaced front and rear pads and discs a year ago and got a new epb unit. Could this be on for the parking brake pads?
At least she told me about it this time!

Did anything come up in the message centre ? I raised my suspension to go through a field yesterday, parked up, walked the dog and when I got back in, released the epb and when I set off 'parking brake applied' flashed up in the message centre. Is your light staying on continuously ?

The message was auto release not functional, I done the low range going through the gears and it's cleared it, for now anyway. Thanks to those who posted all the previous threads.
