Just a couple of questions about the BAS Controller

range is about 30 mtrs if I remember correctly,
you know its working by the cloud of smoke from under the bonnet FFRR SC 4.2

I've found I can turn mine on while I'm still in bed at the back of the house whilst the car is parked on the drive out the front , really impressed with the remote range.
Unfortunately there is no sure way of knowing if it has turned on, although I think you can rig up an LED to come on when heater fires up.

It's pretty noisy and can be heard quite easily besides the smoke on cold, wet days!2 x D3's (Twins)

Whips of condense on start and some some and yes fairy noisy

I've extended the 'aerial' wire up the A post and I seem to get a little more range - enough when I'm on a client site in the Lakes to start it from the office I'm in. Handy when I leave late in winter....I see no ships........

If you install GSM module you will get a text back with status... but obviously requires GSM coverage.IDTOOL PRO / Faultmate programing and BAS remaping services in Norway.
