Pre-Heat Functionality Fuel Burning Heater LR Part VPLAX0060 |
|
For those of you who have noticed this LR Accessory kit on TOPIX - remote kit for the fuel burning heater, I enquired with my local LR dealer, Lookers Park Royal West London. They could not locate the part number on their system and enquired with LR. Were told that despite the instructions being posted on TOPIX the accessory kit is not available. Interesting that LR post the instructions on TOPIX before releasing this (useful) accessory kit on the market! Has anybody else encountered this issue?

Not sure if that's better or worse than getting the kit before there are instructions
Quite common in most industries I would say, that's how a lot of new products leak to market before their launch etc.

Yes, I understand your point but there are more effective ways to market new accessories. TOPIX is supposed to be a technical resource!

J@mes, mine is a D4 not D3. Part #s are different and no doubt components too. I'm in no hurry anyway.Hopefully the weather will warm up soon!

buellbeast, is that the accessory kit I've listed here you are having fitted or individual parts which can be obtained separately? If you can give me a clue and name of your LR dealer, I'll go back to Lookers here in London and tell them....! cheers

Thanks. I've referred this to LR Customer Services who are "investigating" the exact status and will let me know. Dealer says it's not available yet.
