I just seen all the tax import duty and vat stuff on this.
As you know i've got a bit of experience importing TSL from an EU country.
As you are buying this from an EU country VAT must be paid in one country.
For taxation purposes it doesn't matter which country.
This is regardless of how many units or the amount it comes to.
Even if the currencies differ, the principle is still the same.
For example: the price is € 20.00 ex vat in Germany. The VAT rate is 19% there.
You can then pay the € 23.80 there to the seller and the goods can then be send to the UK.
No vat or import duties or whatever has to be paid on this in the UK then.
You can even choose the country where the rate is the lowest.
In this case the German VAT is 19%.
The seller has to treat this sale as a normal transaction as it basically takes place in Germany.
There's no difference between buying stuff in a shop on a high street in Berlin for example
or buying from a German website or eBay seller.
If you do this as an individual as is the case here, it is as simple as that.
Whatever the situation is for the seller, if he wants to avoid tax or whatever local tax laws
apply to him, is not of your concern.
Your only obligation is to pay the VAT either in Germany or the UK.
Hope that helps

Are these being sent out now? I'll finally have some free time this weekend and would love to be able to fit it - we're off to the Alps in a couple of weeks

Connectors were ordered from Martin this morning.
Didn't want to order 30+ connectors, without being certain the rest of the timers would definately be coming my way.
All being well, I should start sending them out early next week My D3 Build Thread

And hopefully, Mr Postman shall bring a heap of connectors, and wires tomorrow, then they can all be put together and posted out My D3 Build Thread
