I'll just say that things have changed since stapldm wrote that PDF and I can now supply connectors, terminals etc for the timer and FBH. He had to cobble parts together. 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

Narpy wrote:If you want the timer to pre-warm your D3, you'll also need a way of "pressing" the flame button whilst the car is asleep.
Most modders go down the remote switch route but others use the GSM switch.
You'll at least need one of these aswell: E-Bay Linky
That's the one I use to trigger my 1533 timer, which inturn, fires up the FBH.
Stand near the car, press the A button and the FBH fires into life. My D3 Build Thread

Does this start the heater at the same time everyday?
It's just that I usually only use the d3 at the weekends,
So how would this effect the fbh ? As in would it help me or not?
Sorry for the daft or not so daft questions just want it in simple terms before I know whether I need one or not.
Any help appreciated
Thanks
Alan

I already have Pete bells fbhc will this need to be disconnected (red wire) to use this timer
Or can I fit an inline diode onto each fbh input (of which value I have no idea) to stop the signal going back to the other controller not being used at the time??
Or am I'm just talking electronic shyte lol

It was mentioned in another thread recently that the FBHIC and the 1533 don't co-exist very well for some reason?
You can connect multiple devices together on the same WBUS wire without diodes (I've certainly not had a problem doing so). 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
