Sizzling sound after shutting off?
I know a hot engine is supposed to make clicks and hisses for a few minutes after you shut it off as everything cools down, but my new LR4 (3k miles) makes more of a pronounced sizzling sound...like water dripping onto a boiling hot frying pan.
Hard to describe but it's far more pronounced than I'm used to hearing. Is that typical for a new engine?2013 LR4 HSE lux | Santorini Black | 5.0 V8

No FBHs on the petrol V8s here in The States. It could be water condensation from the AC...I do notice the sound most near the passenger side (LHD model). Then again, the AC hasn't been running much as it's already started to cool off here.2013 LR4 HSE lux | Santorini Black | 5.0 V8

Mine does the same on occasion. I think it may be AC water dripping on exhaust or something like that.2010 LR4 HSE LUX

Didn't think so but was still thinking of a nice big steak on the BBQ.
