high speed - very minor misfire!
can all you experts on here help this newbie with an annoying slight misfire?
My 2005 TDV6 (105k miles) has a very slight high speed misfire which only appears after the engine has been running for say half an hour or so. Fuel filter is new, I am using an additive in the fuel to keep the injectors clean and no lights are appearing on the dash and no fault codes logged.
I suspect that as the heat under the bonnet rises - something in the engine wiring loom is breaking down and causing this slight misfire - is this a known issue?? or am I way off track??
The misfire is very slight and quite intermittent.
Any help or advice greatfully appreciated.

just thought I would write an update to this thread.
The problem was caused by a TINY hole in one of the injector pipes ( had been rubbing)
New pipe solved the problem

Glad you got it sorted and that you took the time to give an update. I'm sorry that your original post did not get a response.
