They aren't building any now until the new year, so there aren't any November builds or December.
It depends where you are - my last sport was with me basically 1 week from its build - but there are some advantages. Normally 2 full weeks is realistic. So week 1 build means week 3 collection

Asked the same question at Gaydon today and no one knew of any delays and I was told last week the two we are getting at work are scheduled for a November build.
I suspect that it is down to a simple case of demand outstripping supply and LR flexing production to meet demand for the RR, RRS and Discovery, probably in that order. Also a lot of the early 2014 Discovery production run will be earmarked for LR and Dealers. A February delivery on an order last week would not seem to be slightly better than the average waiting time for a Discovery built to order.

2014MY build and delivery dates- update
Good afternoon
I have been in touch with Mike at LR who has been answering emails in Pete's absence.
His enquiries have reported back that there have been no delays to 14MY Discovery builds and they are all being built on time
That being the case, when are people being quoted build/delivery times? I ordered 10 Sept, am being told my HSE order was submitted as the first one within my dealer's first lot of build allocations but have a build date of 15 Jan. If that's right, so be it, but I'm not sure my dealer is being entirely truthful when they say this is the earliest their group (Sytner) is getting customer cars
Anyone like to share their experience (either in public or via PM)?

My order was confirmed on October 30th and I've been told that I have a build date of January 8th. I've used an independent finance company who have also sourced the car so I'm not sure which dealer it's with.
To be fair, my previous experience is that finance companies are pushed further back in the queue as dealers try to secure their first allocations for walk in customers, so I'm half expecting to hear that my delivery date has been extended. The huge difference in cost, compared with LR finance was too much to ignore though so I can live with a delay if it happens.

Roger Rabbit killed JFK, with the Grassy Knoll in the Book Sepository.
PS Does new & slightly different lights, slightly different mirrors and D I S C O V E R Y on the bonnet really constitute a facelift?

There are no build delays - they just haven't built any!! and its the build window that's been pushed back from November to January.
I know they were still build the facelifts in the prototype line in October.
If they go into production then it will be at the start of Jan (ISTR 4th), mine is in my dealers first run, which might be mid Jan (they will get it very quickly) - 15th Jan seems realistic or Feb. If its Feb, I wont have it until March for the plate.
