Grille Removal
Nice simple job I know but
how much force do you need to remove as I can't get the catches on mine to budge and I am reluctant to use to much force!!! Is there a technique?

It really just needs each clip to be pushed until it releases ...don't be frightened 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

just push each of the top clips down until it unlocks, then the two at the sides, then pull grill forward. No brute force required at all.

its the two at the sides that dont always unclip. make sure you push them in until you feel them click.

eventually it was as easy as DG's name change.
The two side catches have now been cleaned up a bit so it wiorks a treat now....
just got to "mow" teh foliage on the radiators.............seems to be mud free but lost of grass, twigs etc.....
impressed how much mud is all over the engine, I expected it to be fairly well shielded but it obviously isn't....end of an era ....... maybe a Defender when it appears.......
