An alternative view...
1/ It can make the side of the D3 look a bit like a van
2/ You will look like a drug dealer/pimp
3/ I think it is starting to get a slightly chavvy image, certainly around here anyway, but then this is Leeds...
It may be good for security and help the kids to watch movies but it's not exactly a classy option in my opinion.
I'm just being honest.

oh well, diversity keeps us as individuals

The factory fit tints look silly as there's nothing on the front side windows.
I think you're better off getting a less aggressive aftermarket tint on all side windows.

Around here we call it "ugly kid" glass as it hides your hideously inbred progeny from the public.I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

I've been also asking for "after market" tint glasses (film) from solarcheck...basicly with the intention of protecting the "ugly kids" from light. A part of light proection, there is a "product line" that includes a kind of mettalic layer that protect also from heat...but it makes a kind of "mirror appearence that i don't like.
Assuming that i'm not interested in that mettalic layer....and for the "regular dark tints".... There are three levels of darkness...light, medium, dark that alows to pass 28% / 15% / 6% of the light through the glass....
- Does anyone have the "lighter tint film"..is it worthy?
( I don't like this black,black...appearance. Ii'm thinking in the medium-lighter films)

The car I have now there is integrated stores in the rear doors it's very efficient too!!!
I think if I choose to go further, I will choose the medium darkness too. "Lady": Discovery 3 HSE Seven TDV6 Tonga Green.

I have the medium dealer fit film, it is great for the kids in the back, that is the only reason I got it and it works a treat, however, if the kids were not there I would not have got it (a bit WAG for me)

@hudsonian
- WAG??? (Sorry i don't understand)
- So.. do you think it's very dark...or it's ok. Do you think "lighter " could also do the job?.
- Internal....Does it keep the car very dark?
ThanksNacho
