I used the Microsoft image resizer to shrink the image size and then on the profile page you select 'Upload Avatar from your machine:' and point it at your resized image. 1996 Discovery 1 300TDI ES Biarritz Blue, sold

Downloaded and installed it, how do you run the resizer - I only get a readme file.

In explorer right click on your image file and you will find a new option 'Resize Pictures'. when you click on this there will be a few options presented, I just picked small - not used the other options yet.

Handy Tip - If you put a large picture in your gallery, then view the general gallery for the latest pictures, your picture will be there handily resized already..... Right click, 'save as' and you've got a resized version of your picture. Wink Disco 5 HSE Lux

I have tried BMP, JPG and GIF

saved as 150x100 size just doesnt upload 15 3.0 RRS HSE - Silver

I just saved it in the format its in, then on the profile page put a link to the avatar picture 'on your machine' (or similar). JPEG I think. Worked for me Confused Disco 5 HSE Lux
