Telephones and Phonebook
According to Land Rover Customer Line.
Discovery 3 Bluetooth doesn't allow access to the telephones phonebook. It seems the only way to access a telephones phonebook is to have a Nokia 6230i and the cradle.
Is this correct?

Yes ....but I seem to remember there is more than one cradle for differing phone models.21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

I was just pointing out, like you, that there are other phone and cradle options available that will allow you to access the phonebook. I believe that one of them is an SE T610.1996 Discovery 1 300TDI ES Biarritz Blue, sold

Only current Freelander 2 and FFRR offers phonebook via BT.
I think 2008MY D3's and RRS's will do from April 30th when build starts.
I'm hoping there will be a software update to allow phonebook over bluetooth but meantime, if you have the voice package, you can store names & Numbers in the car memory and voice dial the names to get round the problem...certainly works fine with any BT connected phone and lets me use my blackberry pearl 8100 fully.2007 HSE Java Black.....sold

Anybody want a free Nokia car kit and cradle for the 6310 series phone? A lot of the earlier Nokia phones fit it too. It's been sitting in a box in the attic for months after being taken out of my old car and has all the cables and gubbins..(I hope!)
