Hello to everyone
Finally the day is coming. We are all excited and looking forward to her arrival on thursday next week. The disco is getting ready at the dealer. I have got the reg number (MY 07) and insurance is done. Did i mention before..Buckingham blue, alpaca leather.
Guys what should i check in the car. The dealer has been good so far and gave me a excellent deal. However he says that he will only check the basic stuff in 10 minutes and the rest i will have to read and discover !!. if any faults i can take the car back later to them.
I want to put in a satnav with handsfree bluetooth. anybody got one done.
Suggestions and advice please.
cheers

G'Day Dr SS,
I went for the TomTom 710 but I'm kicking myself for not getting a 910. The 910 will access the phone contacts list & dial off it, the 710 won't.
I have pics in my gallery of the mounting (prototype) in the cubby hole. (using black HDPE for surround). When happy I will wire it in permanently and create a metal surround, styled to match the dashboard.
A reto fit of LR original part, I am led to believe from comments on this forum, is nigh on impossible.
Cheers & enjoy the Permagrin,
David. Did you think I would leave you crying,
When there's room in my D3 for 7,
Climb in here Joe we'll soon be flying,
I can go just as fast with 7.

Its simple to make a Contacts list for your TT if your phone does not support transffering of the Phone Book, just use notepad and create a file called Contacts and save it to the root dir on your sd card or the h/drive if you have a 910.
Use this format to create the entries, make sure you use " & , symbols inbetween.
"MyhomePhone","12345678"
just save the file as Contacts.txt to your unit and you have your phone book.
I used this on my 910 because my Samsung D500 was not able to trans the phone to the TT.
