Grille Removal

Nice simple job I know but Embarassed

how much force do you need to remove as I can't get the catches on mine to budge and I am reluctant to use to much force!!! Is there a technique?

Shocked

just push each of the top clips down until it unlocks, then the two at the sides, then pull grill forward. No brute force required at all.

I suspect Al, that the grille on mine has not been off for a fair old while....if at all............hence it is rather sticky.....

its the two at the sides that dont always unclip. make sure you push them in until you feel them click.

Pushing the grill towards the car may help in unclipping the top ones.

(Unclipping the headlamp holder bar is another 'fun' task)

eventually it was as easy as DG's name change.

The two side catches have now been cleaned up a bit so it wiorks a treat now....

just got to "mow" teh foliage on the radiators.............seems to be mud free but lost of grass, twigs etc.....

impressed how much mud is all over the engine, I expected it to be fairly well shielded but it obviously isn't....
