Mystery pipe passenger side engine compartment!

Whilst wiggling my turbo actuator arm today I found this stray pipe in the battery compartment.




It looks like a hose for the windscreen washers.




It originates from behind the engine compartment fuse box.




Any ideas? Thanks in advance. Smile

It looks like a breather pipe that connects to the battery itself for a gasses and such...
