Mine goes every now and then - turning the radio on normally solves it - if not do a hard reset. That should sort it out.

Normally it would show 00:00 if the battery was just disconnected.

It shows --/-- when the Ecus have lost sync.

Disconnect the post and neg cables. Make sure battery is charged and then connect the neg and pos cables together (NOT on the battery!) for about 20 seconds.

Reconnect and it should be fine. Thumbs Up

Stupid question on this hard reset Bodsy, but will it reset to factory defaults or will it still keep the mods that you did for me a while back ?

(i.e. 4x4 screen, tow pack and take me home lights on the keyfob)

My dasboard clock and computer display has decided to freeze and can't be operated from the stalk (although it is showing numbers the mileometer has stopped registering and the clock is out of sync with that on the radio)

Hope this hard reset works Smile

I've found after loosing the clock on the dash twice, keeping the battery charged ensures that it doesnt disappear again. As we dont use the car that much, I try to charge using a Ctek every Sunday, if I remember.

Lost my clock today. It's slightly different to the two above though. I have '--:--' and it was a HR that caused it to drop, so not sure what to do to get it back?

I set the clock via the radio but I still only have --:-- on the dash.

Cheers,

Darren
