Heated Windscreen

First real frost this morning so I thought id see how much of my cold climate pack still works on MY05 S.

FBH - Check
D4 heated washer jets - Check
Rear screen and wing mirrors - Check.
Windscreen - Complete fail!!

Last winter we had a few good size strands work but now its gone completely.

Any simple fixes or is it a brick through the screen and call Autoglass?

Thumbs Up

ISTR Autoglass one has a life time guarantee, were you unlucky enough to meet a flying stone on your next drive. And if it's a Pilkington screen it's the same as LR without the badge. Thumbs Up

It is in two halfs (driver side and passenger side). You would be very unlucky to have both sides to fail same time. I would check fuse and wiring first, before to change the glass.

Well, prior to the winter season I should check the rear screen heater if I were you. Rolling Eyes That way you will prevent frozen hands while you are pushing the car forward when it suprises you once more Rolling with laughter

I can sell you some if you want?

Overpriced and very temperamental as to whether it will work when you need it most ..

That’s LR brand for you. Thumbs Up
