Hazard warning lights don't need to be on.
Lower onto axle stand wait for message.
press brake leave pressed for five seconds
Whilst brake still pressed press up lever and hold until car raises.

Just to clarify - ensure the car is not actually lowering, ie the stand/jack should actually be touching the chassis rail. Otherwise there is a possibility that the car has returned to normal height and will simple "extend" itself back to off-road height, rather than extended profile.
