It also saw me stock up, after Dark Bluie died the proceeds from sale of ATRs could have reflated (excuse the pun) a moderately sized banana republic. Whistle

That’s how I read it.

Might be that the end is nigh for the ATR then. Although it wouldn’t be the first time they’ve returned from a supposed grave.

I looked at the AT+ but the grip efficiency are poor (on the label) . Don't know if that's an issue in the real world

The attraction of the ATR, for me, is how good they are on the road for an AT tyre.

Famous last words but I’ve yet to get stuck off road. You can slip and slide more than you would with a more aggressive tyre, but I put up with that as although I venture off the the tarmac every week, my actual mileage off road is minimal.

How are you finding the AT+ ?

So far they've been very good. Not quite as "fast road" as the Grabber AT3 was (and that was surprisingly good at "making progress" along a fast country road). Having said that, the AT+ is itself very good on road. Quiet, good in the wet and dry. Haven't done any serious off road work but if they're as good as the Grabber AT3 then they'll be very good. Will be interesting to see how good they are in snow, should we get any. Again, the AT3 was very good in snow so hopefully the AT+ will be as good - I want a winter rated AT so the winter ability is important.
