Rear Diff querey

Roel there is mud everywhere and surface rust on every conceivable part hence the salt road assumption! The rear diff housing has some serious gouges and scrapes across it, however the skid pan at the front looks relatively unscathed, its good english mud and grass residue, heres another shot.

New diff ..not gasket replaced

Dont know what was involved , just that i had a whining noise . Rear diff was replaced , noise still there , one wheel bearing replaced ..still noise ..second wheel bearing replaced ..cured . Expensive day for LR Laughing

Mine was done about 70,000 miles ish
 G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Hi Roel, no acctuator there so perhaps SJR I can rest easy about the LR.
Great idea about TFC, does he have a telephone number?

Hate to possibly upset you, but not all school cars - mainly silver but not always- have the e-diff, usually only one per centre. You also have to consider management, press fleet and VIP lease fleet cars - they usually don't get as well looked after as LRE cars.
 Chipped, K&N, tow pack, AT2's, Mantec, fridge in boot, invertor, Garmin, laptop/Memory Map, Optima yellow top, Traxide Kit, Phillips Extreme bulbs
