Get onto LR customer services and rattle some cages, plenty on here have been given loan cars in similar situations and I think you should also. MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

That's outrageous, if they admit the car is not in 'new' condition and have allowed you to reject it, a courtesy car of some sort should have been a minimum, and yes December and January are inevitably going to throw the worst weather of the year at us!! 2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto

does not appear right that they have not given you a car to use until your new one arrives, when I rejected my 54 plate D3 I was told that I could continue using it until my 55 plate D3 arrived. From inital rejection to collecting the new vehicle was about 3 months - only thing I had to pay for was the registration plate transfer.
Also rejected a Ford Escort back in 1996, this one was a bit different though, given a cheque by the Ford dealership, walked up the road to the LR dearer, handed them the cheque and picked up a new D1 ES. Now on my 6th Discovery

Apart from being car less I think you have got a great result in a very short time, many cases like this can take a lot longer to get anywhere at all

Problems lies when new tin tent turns up haven't got a tow bar on the wife's car but will have cross that bridge when I come to it
