If it’s the long plastic sills underneath the doors that you mean, you will need two different kinds. See https://new.lrcat.com/#!/12128/46398/46889/3685/46921 - so black HYQ100060PUY underneath (looks more like rivets which is how they’re also named) and then the white-yellow ones DYC10142 to the side.

Water drain, was told this years ago on this forum, took their advice.
Been a few posts recently on here with pics of rotten sills, the pressed/moulded in drains start to corrode, the corrosion swells blocking up said drains.
Sill covers need to come off every year or two to clean all the carp out as it holds moisture, do not forget the apple does not fall far from the tree, and we all know how badly D1 and 2 models rust

I started taking the side steps off my 66 plate today and the steps are well and truly rotting. The first nut I tried sheared straight off so I'm basting them in penetrating oil.

Penetrating oil didn't work, every single one sheared off. Fortunately the bracket bolts came out easily.

Penetrating very rarely ever works.
Always grease fasteners when fitting things, this pretty much means they will always come out, even in a few years time.

I managed to get the left hand side off by shearing them all off. The right hand side turned into an absolute nightmare, only two of them sheared off the rest either rounded off the nuts or the stud started to turn, in the end I ripped off the rubber top to the step and attacked them with an angle grinder and then punched them through from the top.
The steps themselves are completely mullered but the brackets are fine if anyone needs to replace some rusty ones.
