Hi folks
Hope you are all okay.
So advice needed.
The bush that mounts on the front
Suspension lower arm. The one that is at the
Bottom of the air suspension strutt
Well after a weeks noisy ride i decided to look and
The nearside one is missing it was a poly uograge
So must of come apart and fallen out
Ny q is is it an easy fix as i have the new bushes for it
Or best left to a garage?
I do know tracking will need done again
VEHICLE is D3 2006 2 7

A lot of folks do this at home but you'll need something to remove what's left of the old bearing and a press to put the new bearing in... it's often much quicker to replace the entire arm (in pairs) with original bushes as these give a much better ride (for most people).
 I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

I think this chap is talking about the air strut bottom bush, not one of the arm bushes.

Yes, it's very doable at home, but as Nige suggests, use proper bushes, not these split poly things.

No, you won't need tracking doing unless you alter the eccentric bolts on the lower arm inner bushes.
