Key Entry
Following the recent issue I had with my D3 not going to sleep and running the battery flat. I had to get into the car by unlocking the passenger door. I found that the lock was very difficult to turn. I had to force the lock so much that I thought the key blade would break off the key fob. Luckily this never happened and the door did unlock.
I would suggest that you all try to get in to your D3’s using the key to make sure that your locks work.In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

I had more troubles putting the small plastic bit back in place than turning the key itself...
Opening the car was straightforward even though the battery was dead...
As you know I tried mine last night, it wouldn't budge and the key looked like it was about to break! Need to have a chat with the dealer me thinksThe End

Ours works fine - it had to due to the alarm problem mentioned elsewhere (which seems to have cured itself now its warmer!)
I agree with Gurvan about the plastic cover though!

Look for a little padlock symbol on the front passenger door handle... look for the hole underneath... insert key and flip off plastic over... use key hole
Or look in the manual Taz
