Could anyone tell me if it's possible to fit the snazzy info screen that's standard in the more up market D3's into the console of my 2005 D3 S.
I've seen a couple for sale on ebay and wondered if I bought one, would my car already have the relevant plug/s fitted behind the little shelf that's there in it's place.
i know I'm sad but I've always wondered if it's possible
Humor me please.
Apart from ebay would there be anywhere cheaper (enter scrooge) I could obtain one.

This one comes up quite often on here.
There are a couple of members that did it, but it is not a job for the faint hearted.
I believe you WILL require the hi-line stereo (with 6CD changer) as well as add some MOST cables and a few other things.

Thanks for the speedy reply Dennis. After reading the link, I don't think I'll be tackling that job in a hurry 
I was hoping it would have been a "plug and play" thing.
I wasn't overly fussed about having the sat nav or telephone (I have a parrot fitted). It was more for the locking diff readout malarky, purely because I thought it looked quite cool
