Re new battery: https://www.tayna.co.uk/EA1000-Exide-Premi...P7488.html and D2BOYS code.

Though you might be best to get a charger like a CTEK with a supply mode. Thumbs Up

The MXS10 is worth considering if you don't want to shell out that much: https://www.tayna.co.uk/CTEK-MXS-10-10A-Ba...P8840.html It's not enough for long flashes, but with a good, fully charged battery, it's good for the short ones. Thumbs Up

Either way, a good smart charger is still well worth having. Wink

Hec that's a lot of brass for a battery charger Shocked I think I will buy the new battery and connect it to my Galaxy again when I mess about with gap tool. Unless I see a second-hand one Thumbs Up I have still to get the diff repaired yet Neutral Just to give you a laugh on my behalf, today I removed the front bonnet letters as I had bought some fresh black ones off flee-bay. When I came to fit the new ones they were only Freelander ones I had ordered my mistake Embarassed Trouble is I had already stuck ROVER on so I had to remove them and by hec do they stick !!! So I am now ordering new ones for a DISCOVERY Mr. Green I cant get owt right Big Cry

I've got a little collection of these chargers going. Come in handy when you've got a couple of cars and caravan batteries to maintain. Mxs 3.6, mxs5 charge and test, mxs 7000, mxs10, d250s, the ctek analyser and the mxs25.
Maybe one day I'll sell some and might be able to afford the mxts 70/50
