Your fault is related to the slipping clutch. Once the clutch has been done, the fault should clear, and the lights will stay off Thumbs Up

I had the same, and had to keep resetting the xy sensor, I then had the xy sensor replaced before Christmas as the dealers thought it may be that, however it's still doing it so is going in for a clutch replacement after the new year, all under warranty thank goodness.

cheers guys hopefully resetting the xy will enable me to get back to leeds and i wioll get clutch done on thursday
if i need to get recovery home i will save on half a tank of diesel.

Even if you can't manage to rest the xy sensor it's fine to drive. Just remember your reversing lights won't be working when your backing up.

I would be very gentle to prevent the clutch slipping any more thab is necessary, to prevent any damage to the flywheel...

Are you sure the clutch isn't going?
Mine had no symptoms at first glance but went within a few weeks.
Reset procedure worked at first, until clutch slip was obvious

Reset not worked
Clutch slipping to much decided to enjoy new year tonight as don't have to worry about driving now and will get recovery to get us home

be warned I had huge problems with the new clutch dragging as it took 3 atempts to bleed enough and even now the bite point is really quick

had to leave the car on skye and get the clutch done up there.
recovery with my insurance only covered me for 10 miles.

check your cover guys

just been quoted 730 to replace clutch 910 if flywheel knacked as well

aint got a joice car still in scotland while I am at home in leeds and snow is forecast

bigtam your lucky mine in just now losing the gear selection. clutch, flywheel and slave cylinder plus other appropriate parts £1366 Big Cry Big Cry thats not the local stealership either although the garage are using genuine parts...
 Why does every page of the manual have fingerprints?
