GAP IIDTool
Hi guys ,
Some help needed , I just received my GAP IIDTOOL BT that I bought 2nd hand off eBay,
And all is well , cleared some faults etc but I’m having difficulty activating/ unlocking it .
Iv registered and set up an account on the GAP website and Iv gone through the threads on here for new IIDTool users but for the life of me a can’t figure out how to get a new activation code .
Do I buy a “Transfer of ownership “ in the GAP shop for £25 ?
I was almost going to do it but it looked for my shipping address , does it come in the post or do the email the code to me ?

You’ve answered the question yourself
Pay the £25 along with your VIN number and all will be revealed via email, update the software at the same time.It can when others can't,

Well I guessed that but what threw me was when they asked for my shipping address , I was like wtf ? 🤔

As far as I'm aware the activation can be sent to your phone via email. If you have your data turned on it should then be accessible to the GAP mobile App, seamless process iirc. I wouldn't be concerned about giving a shipping address, I have bought directly from GAP and they have shipped to me at least three or four times without issue.yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ
